Full control of the value chain

At Lake Fyresvatn, we have control over the entire value chain. Eggs and fry are produced on land in our energy-efficient RAS facility, before the fry are transferred to Lake Fyresvatn for further production, where they grow into beautiful, silver-bright specimens thanks to the clear mountain water of Fyresvatn. The lake is Norway's fifth deepest, and there is power production at both ends of the lake.

We are one of five Arctic char producers in the world with approved ASC certification, and are supported by Telemark Development Fund and Innovation Norway.
